Manpower Professional is looking for a full time permanent maintenance millwright for a South Side Edmonton client who has an immediate opening in their operations. Our client is a top 50 Canadian employer being a world leader in the development and production of advanced heating and filtration solutions for industrial and hazardous area applications.
Job responsibilities:
*Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions
*Install machinery and mechanical equipment
*Repair or replace defective machinery parts
*Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up
*Perform routine maintenance work on machinery
*Assemble machinery prior to installation
*Operate machining tools to fabricate parts
*Coach and instruct apprentices; Supervise other workers
*Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications
Requirements:
*Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Certification is preferred, but not required if complemented by significant work experience
*Proven experience with equipment maintenance within industrial environments
*Previous experience operating a forklift
*Electrical wiring and welding skills are required
*Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
*Excellent team player with a positive attitude while striving to maintain high standards of service and productivity
*Must be bondable and must be able to provide solid work references
