MAINTENANCE PLANNER

As a new subsidiary to a mining giant, this mining company is going to be a major player in the coming years. At present, they are operating mine sites and are full steam ahead with their production. With this in mind, you will be able to work for a company that really is putting their people on top of the pedestal and ensuring your lifestyle needs meet your professional development.

As the business is growing at a rapid rate, there is now a requirement for a couple of Maintenance Planners. These roles are newly created roles, and therefore you will come into a newly formed team of highly experienced professionals.

Your experience will be a mixed variety or trucks, graders excavators etc. You will also have worked on mobile plants and with this in mind, have also gained experience in both short and long term maintenance plans.
Core responsibilities are as follows:

• Optimise equipment maintenance availability.
• Delivery of overall site plans (short range forecast)
• Working effectively with third parties (contractors, stakeholders)
• Preparation of plans, schedules, budgets and forecasting
• Short range forecasts and 5 yr plans

It's imperative that you have worked in an open cut mine previously, and also on the equipment that was mentioned above. The business is focused on its individuals and therefore are looking for the right planner to complement a new business strategy that is driven by its staff and their commitment to their careers and the company.  You will need to have 2 years minimum experience in a similar role.
