Coal miner with operations across the Bowen Basin is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for one of their large coal mining operations.
With expansion plans in the horizon and output nearing record capacity, the need for additional resources to meet demand is needed.
Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, your responsibilities include:
- Coordinate and manage all contractors and tradesmen.
- Participate in planning maintenance activities.
- Assist in maintenance improvement initiatives.
- Monitor maintenance budgets and review costs.
- Provide coaching and mentoring for members of your team.
Candidate Requirements:
- Mechanical or electrical trade background or engineering degree.
- Proven track record as a Maintenance Supervisor in coal mining operations.
- Experience with draglines, shovels and mining excavators.
- Good understanding and working knowledge of SAP.
- A stable work history is essential for this position.
