THE ROLE:

As a Maintenance Supervisor you will be :


1. This is, quite simply, one of the most significant leadership roles in our business. Reporting to a Maintenance Manager in one of our main production areas, you’ll manage a large team to deliver high quality maintenance support.


2. Managing the planned maintenance programme is a prime responsibility. As well as producing work schedules that ensure work is evenly distributed over a defined period, you’ll monitor performance carefully across plant, equipment and process operations,

3. and keep a keen eye on key product quality and quantity information. We’ll expect you to provide continuous improvement plans and make sure your team employs the latest maintenance methods.

4. Your wide range of other responsibilities will include the provision of health and safety documentation and equipment, the development of training plans, and the definition and ordering of maintenance materials.

THE CANDIDATE:

The Maintenance Supervisor:

1. Be degree qualified

2. to have Advanced experience working as a maintenance Supervisor

4. When it comes to mechanical and electrical engineering, you’re a technical expert

5. and you have experience of working in a complex, high-volume manufacturing environment. You’ll need a recognised maintenance qualification, and should either have or be studying for a degree. A Six Sigma Black / Green Belt qualification will also be an advantage.

6. Ideally, you’ll have applied lean techniques to an advanced level, and have a strong track record of working with customers, suppliers and advanced manufacturing engineers
