MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR Job in Praha, Prague Czech Republic
seeks applicants for the position of
MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR
with the following responsibilities:
· Incumbent plans, coordinates, and directs the activities of employees and contractors engaged in the installation, maintenance and repair of buildings, grounds and equipment for the American Embassy, Prague and associated agency missions.
· Serves as one of the senior Locally Employed Staff employee in the buildings and grounds maintenance program and supervises approximately 16 employees engaged in maintenance and repair activities. Determines priority of work orders, organizes daily maintenance and work schedules, meets with trades staff daily to assign work and resolve operating problems and confirm scheduling with the requestor of services.
· Inspects for quality assurance and technical correctness all work performed by staff and contractors working on building maintenance and repair. Reviews production and maintenance reports and statistics to plan and modify maintenance activities. Develops preventative maintenance programs in consultation with Facilities Manager.
· Acts as Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) or Government Technical Monitor/Representative (GTMR) when designated on facility management related contracts for repair, renovation or new construction projects. Manages contacts and schedules with contractor personnel, inspects worksites daily, reports problems of quality or workmanship to appropriate offices.
