Job Description Job Classification: Direct Hire TEKsystems has partnered with a Large Federal Integrator in Chantilly, Virginia in support of a growing DoD initiative. Our client, is in search of a Field Technician to support Local and National Networks under DISA. An active Secret Clearance is required, our client will process the right candidate for a Top Secret Clearance. Job Skills: - Degree in related field - Security Clearance, minimum of SECRET, TOP SECRET SCI preferred - Military experience (Engineering knowledge of DISN ) - Exposure to Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) processes, procedures, and equipment. Troubleshooting a plus. Networks of interest: o NIPRNET o SIPRNET - Strong knowledge of TSO's/TSIP's. Technical Writing/Drawing Experience - Site Survey experience to include drawing floor plans, evaluation of rack elevations, power A/C requirements and connectivity tables. - Hands-on experience using VISIO - Unsupervised travel experience (CONUS and sometimes O-CONUS). o Flexible to travel (to include short-notice) - Government telecommunications equipment experience to include: o IP Routers (Cisco and Juniper) o CSU/DSU and DCE Equipment (FT1, T-1, T-3, SONET) o Cabling (Digital RS-530 and CAT-5) o Type 1 Cryptographic equipment familiarity: -KIV-7 -KIV-19 -KG-75/KG-175, FASTLANE/TACLANE Join TEKsystems ® and get your career on the fast track.
