Maintenance Technician Job in Clinton 37716, Tennessee US
Shawmut Corporation (www.shawmutcorporation.com), a rapidly growing automotive soft trim producer, is seeking a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician at its Clinton, TN facility.
Responsibilities include: dismantle, inspect and replace devices and components where necessary based upon understanding of machinery, material wear and usage rules. Install or replace new and used systems. Lubricates and cleans equipment components. Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment.
Required knowledge and skills include: experience with diagrms, sketches and manufacturing manuals to repair and maintain motors, drivetrains, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, and electromechanical systems using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment. Must be competent diagnosing electrical repairs with a multimeter. Must be able to understand and interpret mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams. Must have computer competency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook.
Candidates will be required to work standard 2nd shift hours of 3:30pm to Midnight or Split Shift 11am to 7:30pm based upon needs of the plant. Must be able to work holidays and weekends when necessary.
