Responsible for:
- ·To maintain factory and equipment to high operational standards, providing a quick and effective response to breakdown in order to maximise productivity with minimal waste and costs. The engineering function is a critical success factor for the growth of the business. Maintaining a high standard of quality at all times.
- Ensure that you understand and comply with Health Safety at Work regulations at all times.
- You will have joint responsibility/accountability alongside the Shift Manager and Production Team Leader for the production quality and quantities produced for your shift.
Day to Day duties will include the following:
- To review the production performance daily and suggest any likely improvements which could increase productivity.
- Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene at all times. LEAD BY EXAMPLE.
- To ensure that all tasks are carried out in a safe manner and as set out in the relevant production procedures and work instructions where applicable.
- To carry out process improvements
- Manufacture and fabrication of components relating to the equipment.
- You will need to be flexible to assist with cover for maintenance holidays which may result in the need for you to swap shifts.
- To understand the basics of the production equipment.
- Assist all Maintenance Technicians with day to day running of the plant equipment.
- Assist all Maintenance Technicians with breakdowns.
- Provide support to the manufacturing teams during the shift.
- You will be expected to put forward suggestions of new ideas to improve efficiencies.

- Good understanding of pneumatics(Desirable)
- Proficient with computer systems PLC's(Desirable)
Experience:
- Apprentice trained(Essential)
- Experience of automation(Desirable)
- Worked in FMCG environment for 5 years(Desirable)
- Sound knowledge of GMP(Desirable)
- Packaging experience(Desirable)
