Maintenance Technician (Night Shift)
Job Description: Maintenance Technician (Night Shift) temp to hire. Please submit resume. Job Requirements: 1. High school diploma/G.E.D. 2. Enrolled in or have completed a maintenance training program or equivalent experience. 3. Mechanical and electrical ability with at least five years experience in an manufacturing environment. 4. Must be team oriented and self-starter. 5. Two years experience in the operation of lathe, drill press and milling machines preferred. 6. Minimum of one year experience in the operation of personal computers. 7. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings electrical schematics. 8. Make precise measurements with micrometers, dial gauges, rulers and scales, electrical instruments, etc.. 7. One year of welding experience preferred. Job Description: - Focus of the role is to maintain all manufacturing equipment so that quality product can be produced safely and efficiently - Perform predictive, preventative and corrective maintenance - Maintain facility (compressors, humidifiers, HVAC, etc.) - Ensure the safe operation of all equipment - Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning equipment - Complete work orders and update Maintenance Management Software accordingly - Responsible for accurate recording of spare parts used. - Fabrication of components / parts when required. - Follow Lockout / tag out and other safety procedures - Electrical Pneumatic installations - Provide support to operating production team - Adhere to the Zero Tolerance policy and practice of refusing to tolerate or allow behavior defined by Federal-Mogul as unacceptable in terms of safety (e.g. "unsafe behavior" meaning behavior that could lead to occupational injury or illness to a plant employee, contractor or visitor). - Environmental Health Safety Responsibilities and Accountability - Comply with Environmental Health Safety Rules and Regulations. Must be able to understand what hazards are associated with his/her position and how to minimize them. All accidents/injuries no matter how slight must be reported to any member of management, and/or Environmental Health Safety Coordinator as soon as possible.
