Maintenance Worker
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be 21 or older
- Authorized to work in the US
- Meet the standards of a CORI background check
· High School Diploma or GED required
· Two years experience in building maintenance and general knowledge of plumbing, electrical, heating, ventilation, air conditioning and custodial services.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
· Perform the general cleaning and maintenance of the building to include, but not limited to, cleaning assigned areas, maintenance repairs as necessary, report any concerns or problem areas to Maintenance Foreman, other related duties as assigned
· Performs security checks of the building to ensure all doors are properly secured and notes on security check sheet.
· Able to respond to emergencies, i.e. shuts off water to prevent flooding, repairs broken locks, removes broken glass, turns heat on or off according to need.
· Maintains an accurate daily inventory of all tools and equipment used daily, ensures all tools and equipment are secured in the proper location.
· Assists with seasonal chores, snow removal and lawn maintenance, ensures all exit doors are cleaned after a snowstorm, etc.
· Able to work out doors in all types of weather
· Individual must be able to: stand and walk, climb, balance, kneel, crouch
· Individual must be able to: Lift/carry: frequently 1-10 lbs, occasionally between 10-50 lbs and seldom 50 lbs or above.
