About the position:

We are seeking an experienced sales professional to focus primarily on developing NEW OEM relationships. This position will also be involved in expanding opportunities with our existing OEM partners. There will be some focus introducing our heated clothing lines to the outdoor work sporting retail markets.


About the candidate

Successful candidate will have experience in developing large OEM opportunities. They must possess effective lead generation, lead nurturing, qualification, and closing skills. This person should be technically comfortable calling on and collaborating with senior product engineers, project managers and brand managers. Although not required, a person who enjoys fall and winter outdoor activities is a plus.


Job Duties Responsibilities:

First 18 months will be 90% focused on prospecting new business development

Build, fill and manage a complex 2-year sales pipeline (sales force)

Use web research tools to find details on opportunities inside our target markets

Use sales 2.0 tools to find multiple levels of contacts

Network and form professional industry and company relationships

Identify creative solutions using technology and design to solve client issues

Attend sales meetings and trade shows as required.

Provide accurate, complete, and timely updates to management.

Ensure service excellence for every client interface.

Updating customer electronic database

Recommends new products and services

Stay current on product and competitive trends

Evaluating current product results by identifying needs to be filled.

Above average computer skills

 

Requirements:

 

4-year degree or better 

2 years of successful OEM sales experience

2 years of successful new business development experience
