The Woman's Hospital of Texas- Houston (00162) 7600 Fannin Street Houston, 77054 POSITION SUMMARY:
1. Under the supervision of the Radiology Director, Manager of Breast Care Services and Lead Mammography Technologist, is responsible for the provision of Breast Care Services to include the specialty area of mammography and bone densitometry.
2. Recognizes the purpose of employment is to prioritize the patient as number one.
3. Provides quality care in the position of mammography technologist.

Education required and/or preferred:
REQUIRED: Graduate of an accredited or registered School of Radiology.
Licensure/Certification
REQUIRED: Current registration with A.R.R.T. (American Registry of Radiologic Technologist). Current Certification with the Texas Department of Health. Current A.R. R. T mammography certification or certification Eligible. Required to take mammography exam within one (1) year of hire date.
Experience required or preferred:
PREFERRED: Previous experience in hospital environment preferred. Experience performing
mammography QC (Quality Controls)

Must be able to demonstrate skills in performing mammography exams.
