Management Accountant
UK Media Company seek a Qualified Management Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) to join their London based Finance team. Our client have an impressive international profile with interests in music, sports and television.
Reporting to the U.K Controller you will have the following responsibilities:
* Prepare detailed management accounting information for UK media business, presenting and communicating this information to appropiate stakeholders
* Participating in the annual budget process and periodic reforecasts
* Compare actual performance with budget and/or forecast and prepare an executive commentary explaining significant differences
* Preperation of UK Statutory Accounts and co-ordination of UK audit
The successfull candidate will be involved in the continued design, development and implementation of internal management accounting procedures, processes and documents.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast paced, deadline driven finance department. Entertainment experience, particulary in music, sports or television is an advantage. Experience of SUN accounting is advantage although not a pre-requisite. Exposure to US GAAP and SOX is an advantage.
