Management Accountant job - London - Retail - 3 month temp
Our client, a world recognised retail company based in Central London are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Management Accountant who can hit the ground running to assist with their year end preparation.
You will be working within a large finance team and will be responsible for all management accounting duties including, cost analysis and assisting with the budgets.
This role requires a commercially minded candidate who can communicate with Divisional Heads of Department, furthermore it has the potential to go permanent for the right candidate.
Responsibilities will include:
· Preparation of management accounts
· Creation and delivery of monthly board packs
· Meeting with divisional heads of departments
· Analysis of costs taking responsibility for various cost centres
· Variance Analysis
· Identify process improvements with the month end process
· Profitability analysis of departments
· Responsible for budgeting and forecasting
Required experience:
· Part-Qualified
· Experience in a similar or related industry
· Excellent communication skills
· Excel; pivot tables and v look ups
