Management Accountant- Banking Group- The City recruitment
My client is a leading international, specialist banking group based in The City that provides a diverse range of financial products and services to a select client base. The role is working as part of the Private Bank Finance team where you will gain exposure to all areas of the business and have the opportunity to be a true business partner.
Responsibilities include:
Day to day responsibility for all aspects of accounting for a small number of teams, including: actively reporting and performance measurement, expense and balance sheet preparation, analysis and reporting monthly forecasting, annual budget preparation and IFRS.
Preparation and presentation of relevant information to team management
Advising the business divisions on all financial and accounting matters
Liaison with Group Finance on all statutory and regulatory implications of transactions booked within the Private Bank
Candidates' needs to be Managerial level (CIMA) or ACA qualified, Degree educated at 2.i level or above, have previous experience in Financial Services and a Good understanding of banking and accounting skills. While it is preferred candidates have a knowledge of JDE and Essbase and of Equation.
