MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT FOR FAST GROWING LAW FIRM
My clients are a mid tier law firm based in the heart of the City. They are a rapidly growing company and have plans for further expansion in the coming years.
An exciting opportunity has risen for a commercial minded individual, to work within a fast-paced dynamic environment. This is a fantastic chance for someone who is looking to broaden their skill set, work closely with senior members of the team and gain hands on experience to progress their career.
This position if for an immediately available Management Accountant who has recently qualified, or has some post qualified experience. The role will involve working closely with partners, fee earners and the accounts team to review and resolve client balances, perform a monthly internal audit and maintain VAT compliance. You will also be required to perform monthly balance sheet reconciliation's, in addition to assisting with external audits. As this is an extremely broad role, you may be required to assist with ad hoc duties and provide training and support to users with compliance policies and procedures. The duration of the contract is for 6 months, however there is likely hood that this gets extended.
My client is flexible on qualification and is looking for individuals who are ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified. In order to be considered for this role, you will have either audited law firms and have a very good understanding about SAR (Solicitors Accounts Rules), or have prior experience working within a law firm. Further to this you must also be proficient with UKGAAP and have the ability to prioritise and cope with the demanding needs of partners and staff.
