About the Job

Our client is seeking a fully qualified accountant for this newly created, key position. This role will take overall responsibility for the day to day management accounting functions of a group of divisions of this highly successful and expanding organisation based on the Hampshire/Berkshire borders. Reporting into the Finance Director, key duties will include: preparation of the monthly accounts pack including variances and commentaries; budgets and forecasts for inclusion in the main group submissions; balance sheet and cash-flow reports; working capital analysis for the overall business; stock reconciliations and financial stock management; strategic and commercial input to customer and supplier contracts. The successful candidate will be expected to make strategic decisions which will directly influence the growth and market share of the overall company. Therefore you will demonstrate strong business acumen along with sound technical skills. You will be working closely with the General Managers of each division so strong communication skills and a robust personality is essential. The group is expanding rapidly and constantly evolving therefore you must be able to demonstrate the ability to prioritise and manage you responsibilities effectively.
