Management Accountant
Based in Chippenham
Salary: c.£50,000
My client is a market leader in providing IT and communication solutions to public sector organisations.
Positioned within the Finance area of the business, this rare opportunity is to proactively manage the Public Safety business unit reporting of major contracts highlighting opportunities to exceed the budgeted target across the company including:
- Advising on process improvement to maximise the opportunity to improve efficiency of the management reporting process.
- Being responsible for managing the relationship with the SSC in order to ensure that the SSC delivers required information and data on a timely basis and in an agreed format.
- Directing the SSC so that the correct revenue recognition is applied across the relevant contracts on the basis of company policy and BU guidance.
- Producing BU Management reporting along with consolidation of BU results, forecasts and budget supported by the SSC.
- Providing analysis and supplementary reporting of BU results to aid the production of insightful commentaries.
The successful candidate will have:
- strong demonstrable management accountancy experience
- CIMA or equivalent certified
- experience of managing a small team
- a team player;with drive, ambition and enthusiasm.
