Management accountant Job in Hatfield AL108PD, Home Counties UK

MAIN PURPOSE OF POSITION: Management reporting (monthly), budgetary control, business forecast and
plans.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
Detailed budgetary analysis / preparation of the annual budget and twice yearly forecast
Production of monthly management accounts and reports
Involvement in quarter, half year end closing activities including General Ledger account reconciliation Acting as first point of contact with respective business unit heads
Liaison with the inventory accounts section in order to provide detailed analysis on all stock related issues Analysis reconciliation of the product pricing adjustments duty accounts
Liaise with the other members of the section / department in order to manage the general tasks of the section All of the above working within specified timescales

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE:

CIMA / ACCA intermediate finalist or qualified by experience
Strong experience of management accounts to include detailed Gross Margin and P L analysis
