Management Accountant Job in Leeds Ls15jw, Yorkshire Uk

My Client, a growing, profitable business, based in Leeds, is looking to recruit an experienced, Qualified Management Accountant to strengthen their existing Management Accounts Team.

You will ideally be from an ACA background with experience working within a Management Accounts Team for a growing organisation. You will need the confidence to challenge existing processes and the ability to work commercially within a pressurised environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Managing and motivating 3 direct reports
• Resolving complex balance sheet queries
• Preparation of relevant and timely MI and KPI reporting for management meetings
• Ownership of key business units submissions.
• Reviewing cash flow/balance sheets and providing commentary
• Identifying process improvements on a daily basis
• Driving process changes within accounting and compliance to increase efficiency
• Variance analysis / Spend Control - Identifying significant deviations in actual performance from forecasts

Key Requirements:

• Qualified Accountant - Ideally ACA but will consider CIMA, ACCA
• Experience in a challenging, pressured Management Accounts Team
• Experience identifying and driving process improvements
• Staff management experience
• Strong Excel skills (VLookups, Pivot Tables, Macros)
