Management Accountant – Real Estate recruitment
Working within the Real Estate Accounting Team you will be assisting qualified accountants with standard financial activities.
You will provide accuarate and timely financial and management information for the group under the direction of the Corporate Controller.
Day to Day activities will include;
- Setting up new debtors and creditors on Orpheus
- Setting up and authorising property summaries on the system
- Assisting with the monitoring and preparation of weekly Bacs run, monthly cashbooks, journals, reporting packs and profit and loss calculation
- Quarterly board reports
- FSA returns on a quarterly and annual basis
- Quarterly VAT returns
You will also be involved with;
- Monthly cashbooks
- Monthly journals
- Monthly reporting pack
- Monthly PL calculation
- Agreeing inter-company balances on a monthly basis
- Monthly calculation and issuing of invoices for internal funds
- Issuing quarterly management fee invoices
- Quarterly board report
- Quarterly VAT returns
The successful applicant;
- Relevant degree in business related discipline
- Will be a holder of a recognised chartered accountancy qualification e.g. CIMA Managerial stage (or equivalent); or studying toward the qualification
- Experience of working in a property background
- Advanced Excel skills
- Investment industry experience
- Positive, enthusiastic approach
- Keen eye for detail and a professional approach to all tasks
- Experience of SUN/Vision accounting systems would be an advantage.
