Management Accounting – Banking recruitment
Main Duties
• Perform regular MIS reporting for Senior Finance Management and Business Heads, including commentaries and Cost analysis (trend, variance, MOM, YTD, Forecast and Budget). This information will be used in monthly business and performance packs.
• Lead the cost modelling for Strategic Projects in the APAC region; prepare concise summary of cost plans and key findings for key stakeholders and close out any budget / forecast requirements.
• Lead any special reviews / initiatives / projects to cover financial requirements.
• Partner with the Business to improve client service; exercising active cost management through more robust forecasting, identification of cost saving opportunities.
• Partner with the business to successfully deliver budget; ongoing support and regular communication with all stakeholders; regular analysis and reporting prepared and communicated to business
Person Requirements
• Qualified Accountant with strong academic background.
Experience required:
• 6 yrs + Professional Qualification
• Experience in managing staff
• Experience in providing value added MIS to Senior Clients while managing their cost base
• Experience in engaging / service senior management
• Experience in banking industry
• Strong presentation skills
• Control focused, analytical, meticulous and adaptable
