Our client, a highly respected international company, is looking for an Management Accounts Assistant for their fast paced regional offices. This is an exciting opportunity to further your experience within a talented commercial set-up.
Key responsibilities:
• Preparation of general ledger journal entries to record accounting transactions including recharges, prepayments and accruals, monthly fx revaluations
• Accurate maintenance of fixed asset registers including, recording additions / disposals, depreciation entries and reconciliation to the general ledger.
• Intercompany invoicing, processing and reconciliation.
• Preparation of VAT and local sales tax returns
• Assist in the preparation of monthly finance packs financial, account analysis and reconciliations.
• Assist management in the preparation of local statutory accounts.
• Documentation and monitoring of internal controls and procedures.
• Any ad hoc duties
The ideal candidate will be an studying or looking to study CIMA or ACCA with strong experience and advanced knowledge of accounting practices. Solid reporting skills and an ability to communicate, both verbally and written, is essential, as is a methodical attention to detail.
