Management Accounts

Hays Specialist Recruitment have been asked to work in partnership with a medium to large organisation to source a part qualified accountant to fulfil a Management Accounts role within a busy finance team.

Reporting to the senior Finance Managers your role would be focussed on effective delivering of accurate and timely financial reports to the management team.

In addition to the monthly management reports you will be preparing the reconciliation's, ledgers for analytical review, budget monitoring and variance analysis. You will be communicating closely with Bankers, Auditors and HMRC so experience in Year-end and Tax/VAT returns is essential.

To be considered for this role you must be studying towards your ACCA or CIMA, and have existing experience of drafting management accounts and VAT. Public sector experience is preferred but not essential. In addition to these requirements you must be an advanced Excel user and have a good aptitude for using accountancy software.

You must be a good communicator with high levels of organisation and ability to work from your own initiative. A large part of the role will be focussed on analytical review so having a keen eye for detail is a pre-requisite, along side enthusiasm and passion for the company you work for.

In return for your hard work and credibility you will be rewarded with a salary in the region of £22,000- £25,000 as well as Study support and a lucrative benefit package which includes extra holiday and flexitime.
