Role / Principal Activities
Strategic planning, detailed financial analysis and provision of high quality informative presentations that enable Operations to drive forward strategic change.
- Strategic insight and preparation of key materials to drive acceptance of strategic plans at the highest levels
- Delivery of key communication strategies through various internal media
- Value add and inquisitive analysis aiding the drive towards strategic change and efficiency
Skills and experience required
- Highly numerate and analytical. Must be able to decipher information and provide detailed analysis
- Strong presentation skills - must be able to create and deliver presentations to senior MD level management on the work done
- Needs to be able to demonstrate a strong financial bias within relevant financial services industries.
- Must be able to lead projects and ensure stakeholder support and buy in
- Strategic consultancy, management accountancy or equivalent prior experience.
- Fully proficient in Excel (to macro / modelling level)
Department Criteria
The Operations CAO Services team is focused on financial planning, branding and strategy for the Global Wholesale Operations division. Key elements of the work include detailed financial analysis of current and projected costs and opportunities to drive strategic change and efficiency. Understanding the true cost of operational functions and systems will enable the division to make strategic decisions to further enhance our competitive position. Alongside this the team plays a key role in financial monitoring, management reporting / consolidation, forecasting and target setting. The group is also responsible for communication and branding strategy for Operations
