Management Associate

A Management Associate is an entry level position for recent college graduates that provides a 12 month training period.

Steel’s safety and industrial hygiene program to help ensure safe, productive work environments. Your skills will effectively integrate safety practices that prevent injuries or incidents.
Duties for this position include, but are not limited to:
• Administer the U. S. Steel Safety program to ensure a safe work environment
• Collaborate with managers to develop and coordinate safety and industrial hygiene processes and programs that drive improvements in performance
• Conduct incident/injury investigations
• Integrate safety practices and principles through the assigned facility, including the application of company and plant safety goals and objectives
• Assist in the development and delivery of training
Provide technical and compliance-related support.

Through formal and on-the-job training related to individual assignments, Management Associates build business and management skills while they prepare for successful futures. U. S. Steel’s Management Associate Program provides relevant work experience while strengthening leadership capabilities for advanced roles within our Corporation.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene, Safety Science or related field.
Qualified candidates should possess good computer and communication skills.
This is an entry level position requiring 0-3 years of professional work experience.
