Management Consultant – Long term contract Job in Edmonton T5j 2Y2, Alberta Canada

Our client requires the services of a Senior Management Consultant to provide project management services related to assessing the current state, defining the ideal future state, providing the strategy, and planning for the subsequent phases of the Asset Management Implementation project. Project deliverables may include, but not limited to:

-          Establish the project time framework to meet objectives, milestones, plans, and detail project plan

-          Coordinate and manage, as necessary, the schedule and scope of Phase One of the Asset Management project

-          Deliver an implementation strategy for the project with support from the client’s subject matter experts

-          Gather feedback from stakeholders and Asset Management staff to identify project scope and complete an implementation plan

-          Integrate and align multiple projects; understand and document dependencies.

Mandatory Requirements Include:

-       Project experience with PeopleSoft Financials

-       Proven leadership, facilitation, mediation, organizational, planning, estimation, project scheduling skills, and customer relationship management.

-      Experience with Asset Management Projects

Desirable Requirements Include:

-       PMP or related certification/degree

-       Experience identifying, leading and managing large, complex projects experience.

-       Experience in communicating and developing proposals/presentations for all levels in an organization.

-       Demonstrated experience in carrying out research and data collection including running focus groups and facilitating workshops

-       Demonstrated experience as a Management Consultant in development and establishment of project management frameworks, objectives, and implementation strategies and high level plans

-       Experience with the Oracle/PeopleSoft Asset Management module

-       Experience with business process change management

-       Experience developing role, responsibility and accountability matrices

-       Experience facilitating issue management processes, including ensuring issue escalation procedures

-       Ability to assume a leadership role in the management of client relationships

-       Demonstrated knowledge of information concepts, privacy and security

-       Ability to assist with subsequent phases of project
