Management / Cost Accountant Job in Doncaster, Yorkshire UK

Chase and Holland are currently working on behalf of a manufacturing business based in Doncaster who are looking for a Management Accountant / Cost Accountant in a newly created role. The position will report to the Finance Director and will see the successful applicant take full responsibility for the operational accounting, costings, systems purchasing and stock / inventory control. Duties will include;

-Maintaining the COM`s
-Standard cost analysis of manufactured products, cost saving initiatives and preparing reports.
-Management of stock control, stock valuations and co-coordinating stock takes
-Sales and margin analysis, standard costs, inventory control and valuation
-Management of two direct reports (manufacturing accounts assistant purchasing assistant)
-Control and reporting versus budget/forecasts
-Leading business process improvements and training/ development of the IT system
-Managing the purchasing function including price negations and supplier rationalization

The desired applicant will have experience working within a fast paced manufacturing business with experience in costings and management accounts. You will be either qualified by experience, ACCA/CIMA qualified (or studying towards) and will have exceptional excel skills.
