Position Title: Management Information Analyst Group: Corporate Finance Corporate Finance is looking for an entry level analyst level candidate to join the Premium Pipeline team. Summary The Premium Pipeline project is a large multi-year effort that will create a single funnel point for all Business Insurance policies and insurance contracts. The project is very fast paced and is being developed in conjunction with the Strategic Commercial Business Platform (SCBP). In addition to receiving data from strategic Rate/Quote/Issue platform, the Pipeline will integrate with all existing Policy Issuance systems. The Premium Pipeline functionality crosses every discipline of Business Insurance, from internal data needs to external reporting requirements. These include Billing, Field Reporting, Ledger/Statutory reporting, Claim Coverage verification, Reinsurance and Internal Management Information. In addition to supporting the current Management Information applications, the Pipeline team is supporting the ongoing development of the new Commercial Management Information platform (CMI). The project has a track record of successful on time deliveries and is recognize a critical piece of the BI system architecture. The project has completed its integration of 3 lines of insurance and actively working on multiple additional deliverables with targeted releases in 2012 and 2013 as well as other concurrent/subsequent releases for several years. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Work with the Premium Pipeline business team and other business areas to develop business requirements. Work with downstream customers areas to understand the impacts of the project. Communicate requirements to IT and other impacted areas. Create test plans in support of business requirements. Ensure that test conditions and test scripts meet the needs of Pipeline and downstream customers. Perform testing to ensure that the application meets business needs. Maintain individual status as it pertains to requirement development and/or testing progress. Participate in meetings and ensure sessions are documented. Job Requirements: BS/BA in Finance, MIS or a related field and/or equivalent work experience Business Analytical skills, able to take on complex issues Data Analysis, Review large amounts of data and draw accurate conclusions Technical skills, MS-Access, MS-Excel, MS-Word etc. Aptitude for developing innovative systemic solutions to improve business processes Strong written and verbal communication skills Demonstrates ability to adjust priorities based on changing situations.
