Management Information Analyst recruitment
The Company
Our client is a Swiss wealth management institution offering services to private and institutional clients in the management of financial assets. They are also part of the world's largest insurance groups in the world.
The Role
As a Management Information analyst, you will be the gatekeeper of management information, managing MI data, monitors KPI and performance evaluation. You will be producing reports within the MI reporting suite, handle queries, perform investigation and follow up, reconciliation and adhoc reporting. You will also be participating in the budgeting exercise including scenario planning, template design and financial modelling.
In addition, you will also be tasked to support bottom up data collation, version control, prepare review papers and supporting schedules and maintaining the data bank. You will have to take ownership for Static data and maintenance including activities such as cost centre and hierarchy maintenance, change requests and team structure reorganization. This is a regional role, hence your scope of duties cover Singapore, Hong Kong and Eastern Europe business.
You will also be participating in testing, investigative work as well as developing an interim solution until the company's MI datawarehouse in SAS is available in 2012.
Your Profile
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a good university degree in accounting or business administration and a minimum of 2 years professional experience in similar function, capacity or industry. Apart from good understanding of Management Accounting and concepts, you will also need to proficient in MS Excel, MS Access, Financial modelling skills and template design.
You will also need to have a good numeric sense and attention to details and accuracy. Good time management, prioritization skills, resourceful and able to source for data, analytical and logical thinker and excellent in English language skills (both written and spoken). A can do attitude with the ability to work independently under pressure and meet demanding deadlines is highly desirable. You will also need to be a dedicated team player and motivated self starter, takes ownership of assigned tasks, works well with others from difference background and culture, able to adapt to changes, open to suggestions and flexible in approach and responsible individual with an excellent personal conduct.
