Management Information Analyst recruitment

 This role will be responsible for:

-          Preparation of monthly MI Packs for Executive Committee and business managers

-          Partnering with business managers to ensure relevant, informative MI and financial analysis is provided as required

-          Preparation of strategic plans, annual budget and regular monthly forecasting throughout the year

-          Delivering month end close process, ensuring process is accurate and efficient

-          Preparing management information for business managers including monthly actual vs budget reporting

-          Ensuring the completeness and accuracy of general ledger entries at the month end for balance sheet and PL line items of responsibility.

Candidates should have the following skills and experience:

-          Qualified accountant with 2+years post qualified experience and appropriate management accounting and financial analysis experience

-         Investment Management / Banking experience is helpful but not a core requirement

-         Information Technology skills and the ability to accurately maintain and manipulate data are important together with familiarity and experience with General Ledger systems

-         Strong Excel skills

-         Experience of working with mid-range general ledger applications

-         Motivated and highly committed individual who has a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail and a right first time approach
