For more information, please visit Position Description: The position of Director reports to the Vice President of Operations based in Parsippany, New Jersey (firm moving to Madison in May 2012). The position is responsible for project and people support activities. The position provides a high level of technical knowledge specific to MRI, Resolve and Documentum The role includes the following responsibilities: Working closely with personnel in the group in Parsippany, strengthening relationships with existing team comprised of fund operations, portfolio management and asset management individuals. This activity includes the following important elements: Developing project plans for new and existing projects related to PREI Meeting deadlines with competing priorities, working across diverse staff and teams Working with the VP and various members of PREI to develop and improve various database system with intelligent information. Prepare materials in preparation of investor and/or client meetings Other actions as needed by the team and funds. Qualifications Qualifications: A qualified individual for the Director, Project Management position should have strong analytical and quantitative skills; the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in written form; good presentation skills, and a demonstrated ability to interact professionally with senior executives internally and with investors. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong service orientation. Specific requirements include: 5-8 yrs successful experience in a similar position involving developing relationships in the institutional investment management business. Familiarity with investment concepts; more detailed knowledge of real estate products will be a positive. Ability to work collaboratively within teams to achieve results. Must be well organized; able to juggle projects and negotiate priorities, and comfortable with role supporting multiple managers Understanding of basic real estate terms and concepts such as net leases, gross leases, contracts, rents, percentage rents, operating expenses, capital expenditures, recovery of expenses, property types. Strong skills related to MRI, Resolve and/or Documentum processes and systems Strong quantitative skills and demonstrated analytical ability. Computer proficiency with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Strong interpersonal/communication skills.
