Management Reporting Analyst recruitment

Principal Responsibilities

• Support the Head of EMEA Management Reporting, Planning Analysis with the production of business unit reporting, presentations and analysis for the EMEA region.

• Support the EMEA regional business analysts within the Management Reporting team with cost and revenue analysis, client profitability analysis, cost centre support and other ad hoc analysis.

• Assist in the analysis of data for cost allocations and methodology tables (quarterly reviews)

• Compile and produce Net New business data (using Sue Spurling report) for the EMEA business regions.

• Assist in creating more efficient compilation of AUA/AUM data ready to feed into GFS and EMEA monthly decks

• Assist in the preparation of Operations Direct Expense report

• Forecasting – work with members of the management reporting team to design develop and build individual business and EMEA forecast models

• Work with the team throughout the Budgeting and Planning process for  EMEA and the individual business units

• Involvement in other expense areas such as assisting with the collection of debtor information and updates from the various Fee Analysts; Liaising with Fees team in relation to Subcustody information including new custody relationships, fees, and expenses for inclusion in monthly forecasting.

• Help in gathering information concerning client profitability project and then ongoing updates

• Other ad-hoc management reporting and analysis as it arises

Skills / Experience required

•   Ability to partner effectively with peers and line manager

•   Strong IT skills required, notably Excel to advanced level and Powerpoint

•   Highly numerate with strong analytical and organisational skills and high attention to detail essential

•   Ability to work in a team environment

•   Flexible approach towards changing work methods and variable workloads

•   Management reporting experience required, deemed essential

•   Financial or accountancy training or background preferred
