Our client is a renowned private bank and a leader in the private wealth management space globally. They are presently seeking a high-calibre candidate at the VP level to lead a team in the management reporting / MIS function for the private bank.
You will be a deputy in a team which has critical responsibility for the timely production and analysis of management reports for the Asia Pac Business,. You will be responsible for the preparation and commentary of management reports (by business lines, markets, products etc) and communication of the results to the business. This will require extensive interaction with the business stakeholders as well as senior management across finance. You will also be extensively involved in the implementation of strategic initiatives in the areas of MIS enhancements, report customizations or improvements.
This is role that will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to increase their exposure to different revenue lines in the business.
To qualify for the position you should be degree qualified from the discipline of Accountancy or any relevant discipline with at least 5 years of experience in a financial control or product control or MIS / Management reporting function. Candidates with 4-5 years of financial reporting (including statutory / head office reporting or regulatory reporting) will be considered as well. You should also be a highly analytical and adaptable individual who enjoys working in a dynamic and cosmopolitan environment, and possess ambitions to develop an international career.
