Our client is a leading, global insurance business with an enviable reputation for hiring and developing the best people in the sector.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, the role will be responsible for leading and developing the Management Reporting Team, building trust rapport with local and Regional Offices and constantly looking to identify opportunities implement initiatives for driving financial performance. You will also be responsible for the timely and accurate production of a range of management reports, including related analyses and forecasts. A major focus for this individual will be on developing the financial planning and analysis process for the organisation and looking to deliver improved processes and better controls.
Requirements:
- University graduate major in Accounting or Finance and qualified accountant
- 5 to 9 years' relevant experience in management reporting gained within the insurance sector
- Experience of managing a team
- Well versed with UK GAAP, IFRS, local tax rules and insurance regulations
- Ability to build trust and rapport with all levels of the organisation, including ability to communicate and influence senior management
