Overview
The Global Rates Reporting (GRR) team is responsible for providing Core Rates Management with its daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting requirements. The GRR team collates information from London and the regions to provide Front Office Finance with a global view of Core Rates Revenue.
You will have the opportunity to build on existing experience gained in bookrunning, product control or regional Management Information (MI) to face off to senior Front Office (FO) and Finance, and to gain an overview and understanding of key drivers of Revenue generation for Deutsche Bank’s s Global Core Rates Franchise.
In addition to the daily responsibilities, you will be expected to fully engage in the Profit and Loss (PL) Attribution and Book Hierarchy projects, providing Subject Matter Expert (SME) input to Project architecture.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Providing the Business and Central Management with the Morning Flash
- Providing data for Finance Director / Finance Manager (FDFM) sign off
- Daily commentary for the drivers of PL regionally
- Supervision of the daily process and offshore resource
- Process re- engineering and facilitate the off shoring process
- Implementing changes to the reporting hierarchy for the business
- Working together with IT to develop and enhance the Reporting Tool used by the business
- Month end responsibilities include coordinating the regional month end adjustments
- Various month end reporting
- Development of reports at the request of the Business or FDFM
- Working with different bank-wide project streams to provide expertise from a GRR perspective
- Working with other MI leads to leverage best practices across other products / businesses
Candidate requirements
You will have:
- The ability to demonstrate creative and proactive approaches to idea generation and problem solving
- The ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- The ability to prioritise the multiple demands from different stakeholders
- Prior Fixed Income experience from an Investment Bank
- Strong relationship skills, with the ability to work through virtual teams and build relationships globally
- Prior bookrunning or product control experience
- Strong Attention to detail
You will be:
- Degree Qualified or equivalent
- A self starter with the ability to communicate well across different groups at all levels.
- A team player, with a positive, proactive and flexible attitude
