We currently have an opening for an entry level Management Trainee/Helpdesk Administrator.  Selected candidate will serve as an IT Helpdesk Administrator for 12-18 months while participating in the Management Development Training Program

The Management Development Training Program is designed to build on the existing technical skills of participants by exposing them to experienced Briggs professionals in various departments within the company.  Several of Brigg’s top leaders are past participants in the Briggs Management Development program. 

Job Summary:
Helpdesk Administrator provides first level support to internal users for a wide range of hardware and software technology by troubleshooting user issues and resolving problem tickets in a timely and satisfactory manner.

Primary Responsibilities:

·         Providing first class customer service for our IT users

·         Resolving problem tickets with a smile

·         Ownership for all assigned problem tickets from creation to resolution or to the point of escalation

·         Computer maintenance and issuance

·         Monitoring patch levels of local and remote machines

·         Facilitating employee workstation moves

·         Updating all asset management systems

 

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

·         Bachelor’s degree from a four year college or university

·         Significant technology related course work or prior technology related work experience

·         Excellent knowledge of Microsoft applications and operating systems

·         Strong work ethic, attention to detail, team player, quick learner, self starter

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skill, interpersonal skills and a commitment to exceptional customer service and support

·         Strong troubleshooting, problem analysis, and decision-making ability

·         Demonstrable leadership skills as evidenced by leadership positions in organizations you have participated in while attending school or jobs you have held.
