Texas Children’s Hospital has an excellent opportunity for a Manager – Language Services to provide 24-hour accountability for the administrative and human resources activities for Language Services. The Manager will also ensure the delivery of high quality language assistance services through a variety of mediums.
Knowledge and skill set required:
- Knowledge of language assistance needs in health care; translation processes; programming development; adult training techniques; word processing and spreadsheet software; performance improvement concepts; financial concepts; data analysis; and strategic planning
- The ability to manage multiple tasks with multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to problem solve, analyze information, promote exceptional customer service, utilize performance improvement techniques, work effectively with individuals and teams and maintain confidential information
- The ability to operate a personal computer, to include word processing, spreadsheets and database applications
Education and Experience required:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- A minimum of three (3) years of operations experience such as project coordination, leading or initiating projects, or compliance with regulatory standards
- Oral and written fluency in a second language
