Role Purpose:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective operation of a specific team within this business unit with the ultimate aim of ensuring the assigned portfolio is managed in line with the agreed strategic aim.
Role Responsibilities:
- Implementation of Business Plans including in depth due diligence to develop best options available to maximise loan recovery and implement as appropriate.
- Prepare and present credit papers to Credit Committee.
- Manage debtor relationships to ensure that maximum loan recovery is achieved.
- Monitor on an ongoing basis 'performance' vs parameters required/agreed in relation to facilities provided post agreement of business plan. In this regard the delivery of accurate quarterly reviews/reports will be a key deliverable for the successful candidates.
- Liaise with relevant insolvency practitioners as appropriate.
The successful candidate will have:
- Credit Mgt experience
- Knowledge of insolvency law and its implementation. In addition, practical experience of work-out situations while not an absolute prerequisite would be a significant advantage.
- Superior communication (both oral and written) , time management and prioritisation skills
- Strong monitoring control skills, analytical ability and creative approach to problem solving.
- A results-driven approach and the proven ability and desire to succeed in a challenging, constantly changing environment are essential.
General
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Relevant educational qualification (Degree/Professional)
- Experience in use of banking systems and processes
- Strong and demonstrable negotiation skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
