Job Description:
The Triangle Group is seeking a highly self motivated Information Technology Manager to work out of its Kearny NJ location. The Information Technology Manager will work under the general direction of senior management and will be responsible for:
• Responsible for working with our service providers regarding application enhancements, customization, new releases.
• Responsible for developing and implementing integration protocol and onboarding processes for new clients.
• Overall responsibility for the company's website, and leading all activities for collaborating with internal and external partners, website design, website development, and implementation and operation of the website.
• Ensuring the effective, accurate, and reliable operation of the company's warehouse management system and yard management system.
• Provides technical guidance and support to all locations to ensure WMS and YMS applications and equipment are maintained, secure and fully operational at all times. Provides similar services to all other operations and departments of the company.
• Ensure continuous delivery and quality of IT services through oversight of staff and monitoring of IT systems performance. Establish an effective help-desk type of tracking system to evaluate IT staff service levels through timely, quality, and issue-solving accountability.
• Other job related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems, or related field and five years management/leadership experience.
• Can demonstrate clear understanding and expertise with TMS, WMS, and YMS applications.
• Working experience with Microsoft Windows environments, MS Office programs, and MS-SQL.
• Knowledge of SQLServer or other relational database management systems.
• Ability to hire, evaluate, train, develop, lead, and mentor current staff and new hires as required.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Experience with systems design and development.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Strong negotiating skills.
• Strong business background and ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
