The Manager of Marketing Planning is the primary planning contact for assigned Branches to ensure customer requirements is delivered timely and accurately. Also responsible for maximizing business processes and creating efficiencies from the orders shipped to the Branches and Show-site from the Regional Distribution Center (RDC) and vice versa. Other responsibilities will include:
- Proactively secures Event requirements from appropriate Branch, Sales personnel.
- Develops RDC "production schedule" for each Event by factoring in the Branch production schedule.
- Coordinates RDC "delivery schedule" for each Event with RDC Operations, Transportation, Branch Operations.
- Ensures timely, accurate and successful delivery against requirements.
- Develops multi-Event plans schedules in conjunction with other Market Planning Managers and
- RDC Operations Management.
- Coordinates RDC "delivery schedule" across Events to maximize efficiency of transportation (full loads, coordinate return loads with Show Site inbound loads, balance fleet utilization).
- Monitors progress against plans schedules.
- Troubleshoots/responds to issues, last minute requirements, etc.
- Ensures successful delivery against requirements.
- Achieves CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) goals within assigned Region.
- Debriefs events to identify best practices, improvement opportunities, and additional customer needs.
- Works with RDC management to improve processes, develop new products services.
- Brief Director of Operations and General Manager on all important matters as deemed necessary
- Communicate effectively with all levels of stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate completion of all work.

Required Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Eight (8) years of prior operations experience
- Excellent planning organization skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel.
- Prior show site operations and familiarity with Branch experience strongly preferred.
- Proven experience working in environments that require you to work under tight and changing deadlines is required
- Proven ability to think and act swiftly when issues arise is required
