New Ulm Medical Center (NUMC), located in New Ulm in the south central region of Minnesota, is a full-service health care campus, providing an array of patient care services through its integrated clinic and hospital. With 500 employees, 41 physicians on staff, a full complement of visiting specialists and 35 staffed beds, NUMC serves more than 98,000 inpatients and outpatients annually.
Responsibilities:
Supervise nursing and non-nursing staff in the Surgery Department.. Develop departmental budgets, including the determination of FTE's and all other expenses. Able to plan for the short term and long term needs of the departments, including capital needs. Interpret and apply requirements from regulatory agencies.
Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
- BSN or BAN; or equivalent nursing education and experience.
- Current MN RN license
- 5 years of nursing experience required.
- Supervisory experience in a medical facility preferred.
