Position Description:

In collaboration with the Director – The Manager of Surgery Services is responsible for the day to day activities and operational effectiveness of the operating rooms. This position will oversee the operating areas for: ENT, general surgery, neuro (brain), eyes, vascular, and GYN.

Scope: Oversight of about 65 associates and directing 14 ORs with a volume of approximately 7,000-8,000 cases annually.

This Manager will assist in the management of these patient care units according to their scopes of service. Maintains standards of quality patient care, manages human resources and maintains productivity measures. Completes additional duties as assigned by Director.

Qualifications:

RN License in the State of Wisconsin
BLS required, ACLS and CNOR preferred.
3–4 years experience in OR minimally required plus 2-3 years in a leadership capacity highly preferred. ADN required, Bachelors degree or BSN highly preferred.

- Comprehensive knowledge of nursing practice in the perioperative setting.
- Leadership skills: Ability to motivate others, organize the work environment and problem solve.
