Our client is a world renowned financial services firm with an excellent reputation in the risk consulting arena that are looking to grow their investment banking team with a hire at the manager level.
The role will primarily be focussed on the delivery of projects to clients but they do want people who are able to spot opportunities in the market and move forward to a role that have more a business development function in the future.
Operating within the Trading and Treasury functions of their clients they are looking for people with knowledge of the front to back processes used and risk issues.
There is plenty of opportunity for growth within the team and a path for the right person to move up through the ranks to Partner level in time.
There is a very strong basic salary on offer along with an impressive benefits package and bonus.
To be considered for the role you should have:
*Degree in a mathematical related subject (post graduate qualification is preferred but not essential)
*Experience working within a financial services firm (bank, regulator, consultancy or commodities firm) preferably with a capital markets focus
*Strong knowledge of risk management with specific knowledge around at least one of: trading, liquidity or market risk
*Ability to develop policies and design frameworks with an appreciation of front to back controls in a trading environment
*Strong communication skills - able to interact with senior level stakeholders, colleagues and separate client teams to gain buy-in and influence decisions
*Well developed report writing and presentation skills
*Ability to lead teams and manage engagements
