Manager
Associate / Manager responsibilities and requirements include:
- Project management and assisting on the day to day management of transactions;
- Performing and coordinating market and financial research;
- Analysing and summarising financial accounts;
- Conducting pricing analyses (including DCF, DDM and LBO modelling);
- Producing transaction documents;
- Preparing marketing and other information documents;
- Managing workflow and activities of junior staff
- Managing and interacting with clients, including interactions at the Executive level; and
- Coordinating and interacting with various other teams across the wider firm e.g. due diligence, risk, legal, tax. etc.;
The successful candidate will have:
- Proven track record of Investment Banking or MA related experience in an investment bank, boutique MA advisory firm or ‘Big 4’ accountancy firm;
- Working knowledge of MA and finance. Preferably the candidate will have prior experience of working with financial services companies although this is not essential;
- Good writing, analytical and communication skills;
- Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team;
- Ability to prioritise and work under a tight schedule ; and
- Advanced computer skills, Excel, PowerPoint, Word
Minimum qualifications will include a completed Bachelor’s degree of 2.1 level or above with additional professional qualifications (MBA, ACA or CFA) seen as an advantage.
The successful candidate will work in a team dedicated to Financial Services MA transactions across the banking, insurance, investment management and specialty finance sectors.
