Manager/ Assistant Manager Fund Accounting – Private Equity (Ref. no:M/AMFA-PE/LRP060312) recruitment

This is an exciting opportunity to join an ever growing Alternative Investment division, focused on the Private Equity side.  Successful candidates must have 5 years of experience or more in Fund Accounting within a Private Equity environment.

You will be responsible for producing full sets of accounts, reviewing and preparing financial statements and financial reports for Private Equity clients, and for performing and monitoring quality and internal controls for the Fund Accounting team. You will also be responsible for producing the daily and monthly NAV calculations. You will be providing full Fund Accounting and Administration support to their portfolio of Private Equity clients. Key duties will also include client liaison and dealing with clients face to face for any queries they may have and to provide them with reports and investment information.

You must also have the ability to monitor and identify any problems in service delivery and offer solutions to these. You will be ensuring the integrity of documentation on process, procedure and controls and will continually evaluate the effectiveness of these. Additional responsibilities will include managing the administration of billing processes and the management of client initialization and transition.

You will have at least 5 years of experience in fund accounting from a Private Equity perspective. You should ideally be a qualified accountant who has experience of producing full sets of accounts for PE clients. You must have strong technical knowledge of either the Private Equity industry and have familiarity with products. You will also be fluent in Cantonese and English and have excellent communication skills. Mandarin is an advantage.
