As Manager, Business Consulting - SolArc at Sapient Global Markets you will lead delivery teams helping clients to drive innovative strategies to improve business performance and manage risk. Typical engagements include roadmap planning, competitive edge analysis, operational process improvement, vendor selection and change management.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Gather and translate business requirements for SolArc solution design, modeling transactions through the system to ensure business requirements are met.
- Liaise with the different SolArc business and technical stakeholders to ensure successful solution configuration.
- Manage tracks of work in accordance with projected timelines, budgets and quality standards
- Lead secondary research, data collection and market / competitor analyses
- Lead customer, vendor, market analysis, and client interviews and workshops
- Develop and present solutions and recommendations
- Lead financial analysis and business case development and apply new conceptual frameworks and analytical approaches
- Actively participate in business development activities and create strong working relationships with clients
- Be an active participant within a community that provides thought leadership, project support artifacts and analytical concepts for use within the practice
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree; MBA or MS degree in related field preferred.
- Experience in a consulting firm or other client-facing role.
- Strong business analysis and configuration experience with SolArc.
- Very good understanding of the business concepts and capabilities of SolArc as well as business processes, functional designs and requirements for a SolArc implementation/upgrade.
- Good understanding of the energy/commodity industry end-to-end, especially crude oil, refined products.
- Strong problem identification skills and creativity to develop new, innovative solutions.
- Experience leading process improvement, comparative analysis and change management projects using a variety of formalized tools and methodologies.
- Strong understanding of and ability to create financial models and business cases
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to deliver powerful presentations and proposals and interact with senior clients.
- Strong team leadership skills and people management experience.
- Experience planning projects, managing time, resources, priorities and meeting goals.
- Openness to travel and work at client offices.
