Our global client is one of the worlds largest EPCM companies and is looking for a Senior Manager
The Role
Identify, pursue and secure project opportunities as identified in the business plan(s) and assigned products (commodities)
Compliance with the company HSEC and Commercial requirements and procedures on job functions
Management of client functions (technical and social), as required
Creation of assigned client account plans
Proposal Manager on select proposals, as required
Creation of SWOT analysis for project opportunities
Creation of winning strategy memorandums for project prospects/proposal efforts
Maintain knowledge of company capabilities, client initiatives, and market
conditions
Must be able to present effective (power point) presentations to clients
Must ensure that proposals meet the RFP requirements
Maintain win/loss and other required statistics on submitted proposals
Identify Opportunities (Search the web, make site visits to perspective clients)
Experience Required
Must have a minimum of 15 20 years of experience in the engineering and construction business, and/or business development for the Mining and Metallurgy industry (including EPC and EPCM projects). Prior experience as engineering manager, and/or project manager for an EPCM project is a plus.
Bachelor of science in Engineering (Metallurgy, Process, Chemical, Civil or Mechanical) or Business (Engineering preferred) from an accredited university
Licensed Professional Engineer (Any Canadian Province or Country of Residence) Masters Degree in Business Administration is a Plus
Must be able to travel regionally and internationally (at least 25 40% of the time)
