Responsible for the management and leadership of a range of process improvement and process management activities. Activities managed include planning, performing, and implementing process improvement initiatives, in addition to ownership of operational processes. Essential Functions: Provides Managerial responsibility across several teams including Regional Vendor Credentialing and LMP clerical personnel. Responsibilities include recruitment, hiring, training and employee reviews and evaluations. Coordinates Business Process Improvement initiatives across Procurement Supply Operations department for Regional Contracting, Vendor Credentialing, Supplier Diversity, Product Recalls, National Nutrition, Business Continuity and Threat Assessment. Formulates moderately complex strategies consistent with the business functional areas. Develops maintains departmental performance metrics aligned with organizational missions and goals Coordinates and develops moderately complex plans that focus on results and attainment of outcomes Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: - Twoplus years of management experience (which may include matrixed experience) and fiveplus years of process and/or project management, consulting, or related business experience. - Fouryear degree or equivalent experience required. - Management experience in a Procurement, Materials Management, Supply Chain or equivalent experiencestrongly preferred. - Graduate degree in a business or management discipline preferred. - Knowledge of process management/improvement, methodologies preferred.
