The Financial Services industry group provides a broad range of integrated advisory services in the banking and capital markets, insurance, private wealth and asset management sectors. We assist clients in defining their functional strategies and operating models. In particular, the Financial Management team works with our clients to enhance the effectiveness of their internal finance and operational processes.
FSO-BRS Advisory
Financial Services Office–Business Risk Services (FSO-BRS) is part of the Advisory Services offerings. We provide risk and assurance services to leading global and regional financial services organisations, and aim to be the market leader in both Singapore and the region. We are rapidly growing our resources to resource our initiative to address the demands of new US legislation, Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA), which impacts every bank, insurance company, asset manager, and private bank anywhere in the world.
We have opportunities in FSO-BRS for dynamic people. Our team focuses not just on FATCA projects but many other projects to assure clients that they are managing their risks. In addition to client facing delivery; you will facilitate pursuits and proposals.
Responsibilities
You will help in driving forward new ‘go to market’ initiatives and achieve the following:-
1. Best reputation for service and people in our regional markets.
2. Be the preferred business risk services brand.
3. Be recognised as having the best relationships with all our stakeholders
4. To be the firm that engages and provides clients with practical solutions, strategic advice and real value.
5. Have a team which can deliver the full range of services that clients need to address their risks and assurance needs and requirements, including: -
a. FATCA impact assessments and implementation phases
b. Business process reviews and control assessments
c. Process change and post implementation reviews
d. SOX, SAS70/ISAE3204 and key internal audit projects.
Requirement
- The role requires people with initiative, drive and enthusiasm. Particularly, people who can work under their own initiative and build relationships with clients and within the marketplace.
- A bachelor’s degree or significant work experience in a financial services organisation.
- Preferably a CPA, Chartered Accountant or similar qualification.
- 6-10 years of relevant experience in financial services, either from the business perspective or an accounting and auditing perspective.
- Senior roles will also be expected to help source opportunities
- Broad-based experience in marketing and proposals.
- Ability to establish and build relationships with the Service Line Leaders and Area BD Leaders in order to identify opportunities and pursuits.
- Excellent writing and communications skills in English.
